Account Executive – Italy

About the role
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Account Executive to accelerate Cubbit's growth across the Italian market.
You'll own the full sales cycle, working with a broad range of customers—from Managed Service Providers and System Integrators to mid-sized and large enterprises. While your primary focus will be on new business, you'll also collaborate with senior sales colleagues on selected enterprise opportunities when needed.
This is a fully remote position. We prefer candidates based in Rome or Milan, as proximity to customers enables stronger relationships and more frequent face-to-face meetings.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Win new business across the Italian market.
- Build relationships with Service Providers, MSPs, System Integrators, and companies ranging from €100M to €1B+ in revenue.
- Engage IT and business decision-makers, from Infrastructure Managers to CIOs and C-level executives.
- Work alongside Sales Engineering to design and present winning solutions.
- Generate your own pipeline through outbound, partners, events, and referrals.
- Collaborate on strategic enterprise opportunities when needed.
- Keep your pipeline healthy, your forecast accurate, and consistently deliver on your targets.
What You'll Need
- 3–5 years of B2B technology sales experience.
- A proven track record of closing new business and exceeding quota.
- Experience selling SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, storage, or enterprise software.
- Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills.
- Confidence managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent Italian and professional English.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Italy.
Bonus Points
- Experience selling to Service Providers, MSPs, Telcos, or System Integrators.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, storage, backup, or cybersecurity.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Existing network within the Italian enterprise IT ecosystem.

Location
Full Remote (Italy)
Work from anywhere in Italy. We have a strong preference for candidates based in Milan (alternatively Rome, Bologna or other locations), where most of our customers are located, enabling frequent in-person meetings and stronger customer relationships.
You'll also have access to our network of partner co-working spaces, while our headquarters in Bologna are always available for collaboration, team meetings, and company events.
